Asian Adoptees: Asserting Our Place in the AAPI Community

In the past year, there has been a rise in violence against Asians, particularly in the U.S., but also throughout the world. As the AAPI community speaks up and Asian-Americans reject the model minority myth and other ideas rooted in anti-Blackness, we are having more conversations about the Asian-American experience. Interestingly, in these conversations, Asian adoptees are often not seen, included, or believed to be impacted.
